It is a widely accepted view that JEE is a tough examination we, at MIST Plus are of the view that it is not tough but a different examination. It doesn t just test the basic knowledge of the subject but also tests the ability to apply this knowledge for useful purposes. Its preparation needs a planned, systematic & conscious approach. Today, alumni of these institutions occupy key positions in industry and academia in India and abroad. Each Institute has well-equipped modern laboratories, a state-of-the-art library, and computer networks. The selected candidates live in a pleasant and intellectually stimulating environment.

The teaching methods rely on direct personal contact between the teachers and the students In view of the large number of students appearing for this examination the IIT council has introduced a new pattern for the JEE from the year 2006. This exam consists of a single paper of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively. Each paper is of 2 hours duration.

The Extended Merit List ([ML) of IIT-JEE announced for the first time by IlTs in 2007 is issued for admission in recently established institutions of higher learning like Indian Institute of Space Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram and Indian Institute od Science Education & Research (IISER) at Pune, Kolkata & Mohali, Two more IISERs are proposed at Bhopal & Thiruvananthapuram in the upcoming academic session.
